Noguera, age 59, sued the driver of a semi-tractor trailer rig and the driver's employer, Highway Master Express d/b/a The Panther Express, on a respondeat superior theory claiming to have been seriously injured in a car truck wreck that occurred in Palm Beach County in February of 2010 when the driver of the truck ran into Noguera's car rotating it an pushing in down the Interstate 95 more than 600 feet. Plaintiff claimed that he sustained neck and back injuries that aggravated his diabetes and left him unable to work. Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $14.3 million.
