Gee, III, Ltd., P.C., Lafayette, Louisiana Defendant's Attorney: Description: Whitley Lacey, age 21, sued Acadian Ambulance on auto negligence and respondeat superior theories claiming that she was severely injured in a car wreck caused by the driver of the ambulance, Michael Averette, in which she was being transported to the hospital. She claimed that Averette drupped a GPS device on the floor of the ambulance when she he tried to pick it up he ran into a semi-tractor trailer. She further claimed to have sustained a spinal cord injury that left her confined to a wheel chair and only able to move her left arm. Her unborn child was delivered by C-Section.
