Additional Information: Robert S. Kwok is a Texas Super Lawyer. He is the founder and managing partner of Robert Kwok & Associates, L.L.P. Mr. Kwok's parents are retired Nasa engineers. Upon retirement, Mr. Kwok's father attended and graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and is now a pastor and Elder at Clear Lake Chinese Church. Mr. Kwok grew up in Clear Lake City, where he attended elementary through high school, serving as class president three consecutive years and playing all-state 5A football. Mr. Kwok's family is originally from Hong Kong, where they operate the family shipping business.
Mr. Kwok earned his BBA in Business Management from Baylor University in 1991. Mr. Kwok attended Baylor on the Presidential Scholarship and served the Sigma Chi Fraternity as Vice President. In 1993, Mr. Kwok earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Kwok worked as an associate attorney for a prominent Houston Personal Injury trial lawyer.
A few years after graduation, Mr. Kwok started Robert Kwok & Associates, L.L.P. with one paralegal. In 1998, Mr. Kwok - at age 28 - became one of the youngest Texas attorneys to become Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law. On the road to getting board certified until present, Mr. Kwok has tried over Seventy Five (75) jury trials to verdict, devoting his legal career to representing individuals in civil litigation across the country. Many of Mr. Kwok's jury trials have been followed by local and national news agencies, including the Houston Chronicle, the Galveston County Daily News, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Bloomberg, USA Today, Fox News, Dow Jones News Wires, and various trial magazines and publications.
Mr. Kwok is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which signifies Mr. Kwok has reached the pinnacle of professional excellence and has been recognized for his high levels of skill and integrity.
