Ms. Degnan specializes in high technology litigation and has litigated cases involving computer software, networks, and peripherals, microprocessors, telecommunications equipment, medical devices, smartphones, LCDs and plasma displays, security and encryption technologies, GPS devices, flash memory, internet applications, business methods, document imaging and storage systems, and various mechanical inventions. Before joining Fish, she served as a judicial clerk to then Chief Judge Haldane Robert Mayer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (1997-1999).
