Attorney Morris is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association.
Attorney Morris has served for many years as a Special Master for the Hartford Judicial District family court.
Attorney Morris is a veteran trial lawyer, involved in numerous family, custody, appellate, post-judgment modification, probate, and DCF matters throughout the state. His experience ranges from simple uncontested dissolutions, to complicated custody trials, complex business valuations and arguments for before the Connecticut Supreme Court and Connecticut Appellate Court. Attorney Morris was a contributing author to the Law Practice Handbooks publication of Family Law & Practice In Connecticut.
A lifelong resident of Wethersfield, Attorney Morris served for six years on the Wethersfield Board of Education, completing his term as Vice-Chair. He served the board in many capacities besides Vice-Chair, including as a member of the Board's Budget Sub-Committee, a member of the Technology Committee, a member of the Communications Committee principally involved with creation of the Board's Newsletter and a member of the committee then responsible for strategic planning and renovation of town schools. Attorney Morris served for 2 years on the Town Flood Encroachment Committee and is currently serving on the Wethersfield Citizens Energy Committee.
