John R. Branson is a shareholder in the Firm’s Memphis office. He concentrates his practice in all types of litigation, and is a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation Groups.

Mr. Branson has extensive experience in a variety of areas, including copyright, trademark, patent and trade secret cases; bankruptcy adversary proceedings and areas such as corporate governance and stockholder disputes, banking, securities, health care, construction, fraud, and RICO matters; personal injury cases for both plaintiffs and defendants; libel, slander and complex family law matters. He has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases. Mr. Branson successfully represented a public official who was the subject of a special prosecutor’s investigation into alleged public corruption. He successfully defended an SEC investigation into alleged improper accounting practices at a public company. He also has participated in a number of arbitrations before the AAA, NASD and MSRB, and numerous judicial and non-judicial mediations.
