Freedman is a member of the Oklahoma Employment Lawyers Association, previously serving as Secretary and Vice-President of the organization. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law section and the Family Law section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and a Master in the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court. Freedman has spoken on a variety of employment law subjects to various organizations, including a presentation to the State HR Conference in April, 2008.
While still in college, Freedman worked in the Missouri State House of Representatives, focusing on issues involving higher education in Missouri. Freedman also worked on the campaigns of then Missouri State Treasurer Bob Holden, who was elected governor of Missouri in 2001. Freedman clerked for Missouri Supreme Court Associate Justice William Ray Price, Jr. and retired Missouri Supreme Court Justice Charles Blakey Blackmar.
Freedman was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in October, 1993. He formed an employment and family law litigation firm in 1994. In August, 2003, Freedman became of counsel to Lester, Loving & Davies, P.C., becoming a partner in May, 2007. Freedman has represented a wide variety of corporate and individual clients with legal needs ranging from the most complex litigation to the waiver divorce matters.
Freedman is married with two daughters, and is very active in the community. His volunteer efforts have included serving on the Executive Committee for the Lyric Theatre and Academy, currently serving as Vice-President in charge of governance, the Oklahoma Charge Board of Directors, and formerly the President of the Brasswood Homeowner’s Association.
Freedman focuses his practice in employment and family law. He has handled a large variety of matters from employment discrimination, sexual harassment, to business consultation and corporate litigation.
