Mr. Soto is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey as well as John Jay College in New York. Mr. Soto was admitted to the bar New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and The New York State Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Soto served as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s office where he successfully tried numerous criminal matters. Prior to that he interned at both the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and for the Honorable Anne E. Thompson in the United States District Court of New Jersey. Mr. Soto concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, commercial and civil litigation. In addition, Mr. Soto handles consumer bankruptcy and foreclosure matters. He also handles all aspects of commercial and residential real estate matters, including but not limited to zoning, planning, acquisition and financing. His experience in these areas is extensive. Mr. Soto is fluent in Spanish and lectures regularly at seminars focusing on the purchase and sale of residential properties and has a regular featured column in a local periodical.
