Mr. McKay has an undergraduate degree from Clemson University and a law degree Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He is a member of the National Order of Barristers and in law school was Chairman of the Moot Court Board, won first place in the Southeast Regional National Client Counseling Competition, and was an elected representative of his class and treasurer of the Student Bar Association.
Mr. McKay is active in civic and community service and is a deacon and Sunday school teacher and Committee Chairman at First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
