Additional Information: Fred joined the firm as a partner in 1982, after eight years in solo practice. He enjoys an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and maintains a substantial litigation practice which emphasizes personal injury, wrongful death and criminal defense. He is also sought after by other members of the bar as an effective mediator in both civil and criminal cases. Over the years, he has defended some of the most high profile criminal cases in the area, and once received the Thurgood Marshall Liberty Award from the American Civil Liberties Union for freeing a wrongfully accused and convicted death row inmate after eighteen years of incarceration.
